The Bellingham Planning and Development Commission continues its review of the package of draft regulatory documents and plans for The Waterfront District. A series of work sessions is scheduled for Planning Commission members to receive further information and have discussions on details of waterfront plans.
These work sessions follow overview presentations and public hearings held in March. The upcoming Planning Commission work sessions will be held at Bellingham City Hall as well as air live on BTV10 and the City website:
7 p.m. April 11: Anticipated presentation/discussion: Clean up and brownsfield redevelopment
7 p.m. April 18: Anticipated presentation/discussion: Land use
7 p.m. April 25: Anticipated presentation/discussion: Transportation and Parks
7 p.m. May 9: Topics be determined

Written public comments will be accepted throughout the series of work sessions, currently scheduled through May 9. While the plan is undergoing Planning Commission review, it is important that public comments on it be submitted directly to the City to become part of the official record.
