Working in collaboration with Stewardship Partners, WSU Master Gardener Rain Garden Mentors are available to provide FREE site visits and help you consider how a rain garden might fit into your yard.

You are invited to the Geneva Elementary School Planting Party
On Saturday, October 20, from 10 am to 2 pm, the Geneva Elementary School will finish planting their three new rain gardens! This has been a wonderful project to watch unfold.
Cheryl Lovato Niles, coordinator of our local rain garden project, will be on hand to talk briefly about rain gardens and to answer questions. You are welcome to join our wonderful Master Gardener Rain Garden mentors, and community members to learn more about rain gardens in a very hands-on manner!
The Geneva School has chosen two rain garden locations in the shade and one in the sun, so you'll get to see some of the different plant choices for these situations.
The address is 1401 Geneva Street, in Bellingham
Bring your garden gloves and a hand trowel if you would like to make your mark!
