You are invited to pre-construction open house on wastewater plant improvements
The City of Bellingham will host a pre-construction open house featuring final plans and construction details for planned Post Point Wastewater Treatment Plant improvements, scheduled 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Fairhaven Middle School Commons Area, 110 Parkridge Road.
In an informal, open house atmosphere, project staff will provide displays and information. Participants will have an opportunity to talk with staff, the contractor and the design consultant and view a scale model of the improvements. A brief presentation and introductions are planned at 6:30. People are invited to attend throughout the open house hours.
The City is constructing necessary improvements at the Post Point Wastewater Treatment Plant because the plant is projected to approach its rated capacity in the secondary processes by 2014. For more information visit the City web site at cob.org/wastewater.
