Info from the City:
City of Bellingham water crews will be in your neighborhood installing water meter assembly boxes and meters beginning June 2013. Your utility bill will be converted to metered water rates in 2014.
Washington State laws require the City to install meters for all unmetered water customers by 2017. City crews are working to meet this state mandate, which affects you and 15,000 other single-family residential water customers.
- You will not be billed for metering equipment or installation.
- To estimate how much water you use, visit www.cob.org/utilities and try out our “estimated water consumption calculator."
